Meet the Artist
HELLO!
It's wonderful of you to stop by! I'm Hayden Evans, and I'm an artist, illustrator, and designer. My work is trademarked with a vibrant charm and endearing irreverence that seeks to celebrate my love of popular culture with mid-century style and flair.
I grew up in a fairly small town in Idaho, but - as cliché as it is - felt I had dreams that extended far beyond anything Idaho could contain! Those ambitions have carried me to where I am now, and I look forward to whatever opportunity may come my way to create artwork and designs for those cultural entities that I love most. I have been outrageously fortunate to design for enterprises like the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, the Disneyland Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, Nina West, and more.
My artwork is a joyful celebration of popular culture's most indelible icons, embued with an irreverent flair and endearing kitsch. Whether it be the painted lips of a bombastic drag queen or the tall spires of a Disney castle, there's an underlying smirk to it all to reassure you that this art was made by someone who loves *the thing* just as much as you do, someone who understands what makes *the thing* worth celebrating.

WALT DISNEY COMPANY
Artist; Disneyland Resort Enhancement
June 2022 - November 2023
I had the incredible honor of being a part of a small design team, focused on designing and elevating the permanent and seasonal display projects for the Disneyland Resort, including but not limited to: seasonal holiday decor, window displays, and illustrations and designs found throughout various attractions and park destinations. This role was highly unique in that I not only designed concept art with visual appeal and appropriate scope and theming, but saw these designs through concept, sourcing, fabrication, and installation, having a hand in every step of the process.
Some of my notable projects include:

Window displays throughout Main Street USA in Disneyland Park for the Walt Disney Company's 100th Anniversary Celebration

An entirely new holiday decor package with innumerable new design elements (including murals, banners, signage, large-scale rugs/flooring, window cling graphics, holiday decorations, and more) for the historic Disneyland Hotel.
