"Your Host, Walt Disney: A Portrait of American Imagination" (Acrylic and Gouache; 2015) What would the world be like without Walt Disney? It's hard to imagine, but you could be certain that there might be a lot less to smile about. This caricature illustrates the optimism, the joy, and the endearing charm of Walt Disney, a man many people grew to love and consider almost a dear friend or family member, even though many folks would never meet him in person! The world fell in love with Walt and his wonderful world of magic and imagination every Sunday night on his weekly television show, where he'd guide his viewers through the exciting adventures and new technologies and whatnot that would soon find their way into Disneyland Park. Even though the TV screens may have been small, and the families far away from Southern California, Walt brought the magic of Disney into American families' homes each Sunday.

This portrait marks the 6th piece in my "Enterprise of American Imagination" illustration series, which celebrates the talents of Disney artists, legends, Imagineers, etc. through vibrant color and joyful caricature.

This print is an excellent gift for the ultimate Disneylander, the avid Disney Historian, future Imagineer, or those special appreciators of Walt Disney's endearing legacy.

At this time, the original print will not be for sale, so please enjoy a print of this piece in the original 8"x10" format!
