"Rolly Crump: Imagineer of the Weird" (Gouache and Acrylic; 2015) Hired by Disney Animation in 1952, and later moved over to WED Enterprises (now known as Walt Disney Imagineering), Rolly Crump was a young artist known for his bold, enjoyably odd, and often "weird" style. Crump served as key designer on several classic Disney attractions, including It's a Small World, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, and the Haunted Mansion.

Here is the one of many portraits of Imagineers-past I've painted which feature some of the legendary artists of Disney Imagineering and their most notable creations.

Rolly here is placed in his "Museum of the Weird", an idea proposed early on in the development of the Haunted Mansion, which unfortunately never fully materialized.

This print is an excellent gift for the ultimate Disneylander, the avid Disney Historian, future Imagineer, or fan of Rolly Crump's fantastic artistic career!

At this time, the original print will not be for sale, so please enjoy a print of this piece in the original 8"x10" format!
